I found something called Whisper some time ago, at the moment on my crapbar I am transliterating and translating some Spanish video's https://github.com/Purfview/whisper-standalone-win Here is the code I use for that in Linux: ./fwx "io/es Alberto Rivera Spanish" -o "io/es Alberto Rivera Spanish" -v true -m large-v2 --output_format vtt json -l es --standard --task translate --batch_recursive

It is going to take some days to finish all of the Spanish video's I think it has been running 2 days now and still there are more to go. Tranliterated and Translated some French stuff as well with it, did some Hebrew as well but clearly not that good with Hebrew, but better then nothing. |

This is just a little package of subtitles that works and test for audioMotion, no video is in it. But you can use them for whatever video as far as I know.... You can see them work on my https://aM.JesusGod-Pope666.Info at the buttom in the file manager is the test folder of subtitles. |

./fwx "io/" -o "io/" -v true -m large-v2 --output_format vtt json -l en --sentence --max_line_width 33 --max_line_count 2 --max_comma_cent 100 --task translate --batch_recursive 33 seems to be the minimum, but should be able to do more then that. Maybe 50 would do fine - I have not further tested it. But that is some of the code for the Transcribe app. |

We have some issues on the subs, they tend to go under the frequency/note bar. Lets see if I have an image. Apparently do not have one at hand, anyway, I will post some when I get the possibility to show the issue. |

By the way I ended up just using --standard settings for subtitles. Although I don't think I need to write it in the code, but here is an example that I am using at the moment. But again, I don't think I need it in the code, but need to verify and test it out at some point. But for now I have kept it in there. ./fwx "io/input" -o "io/output" -br -v true -m large-v2 -f vtt -l en --standard --threads 6 #16 CPU-PC, run 2. |

I have made a multitude of Subs now for the audioMotion media player - although it is not at the moment not working as I am doing the folder thing. But anyone can try it out when I am done on https://aM.JesusGod-Pope666.Info - it takes some time to make them, and really, less necessary for most of them - but now that I have it running and have sorted out the codes, why not. But for the most part it was to have sound that is hard to hear or another tongue to be translated. Still the Hebrew is not good for being translated but as time goes, it will of cause become better. Should not take that long with the speed things are going these days. Here is an example for the picture, as you can see it took nearly 10 hours, although.... this was multiple files and I can run at least 2 operations in parable with my settings using the CPU/Threads. I have 16 on this new computer, well 32 if you fix the BIOS setting but I rather have 16 and higher MHZ - and it also a lot easier to see what is going on with 16 compared to 32. I am testing video at the moment to AV1, going to take some days to get the settings and all things sorted out. But that is the next thing I am on.... And the thing that should be able to slice off a lot of storage on my web host, less data transferred to users and so on. Should be a win win situation beside my time of encoding which probably will takes many moons to do even with a new computer like this. And probably bought the wrong thing using way to much energy. But anyway...... I think I will be able to slice it down by around 50GB on my webhost, but maybe I am to optimistic. Time will tell. But overall, Subtitles are working - yet when you have them set to the bottom, they get behind the frequency/note bar, so it would be nice to lift them somewhat up from that the bottom. At least on the computer I have tested things on. Not sure if this happens in higher resolutions. |

By the way the command I used for the image was as so: ./fwx "io/Te# - Revealing Mystery Babylon - James Bailey Z3News.com" -o "io/Te# - Revealing Mystery Babylon - James Bailey Z3News.com" -br -v true -m large-v2 -f vtt -l en --standard --threads 8 #16 CPU-PC, run 2. I still do not think --standard is necessary but again I have not tried without it and seen if it does the same thing, overall it is not a big issue beside making the command longer. # are just my own notes that is not read by it. 16 Threads on my computer, and I can run 2 of them, although usually the --threads would be set to 6 and then have 2 runnings so you still have some power for other things having 4 threads not being used. 8 is by the maximum, although the speed of it, was not that much of a difference between 4 and 8, but.... multiple factors can change things, it was faster and it is using the 8 Threads 800%, yet.... it was not double the speed, far from it. around 25 minutes gain I got from around 2:30 hours with 8 threads 3:00 hours with 4. Now of cause if you are doing a lot, this can become a lot of time of cause. But going above 8 threads does not really do well for it, it can not utilize it. So a max of 8 is what I do. And if I have more then one option to transcribe, I can do a split of running 2 different folders with 6 Threads each. Anyway depending on your CPU, you will have to do your own thing. On the older laptop I have 4 threads, and if using all of them can put the machine on its knees, actually more like dying..... Overall just running standard can kill it using the Browser, so 1 Thread could be used while still using the computer or if you go to sleep you could set it to use all. It depends on your CPU. I did not see any GPU settings, I did get a computer with a graphic card as I did not know if this was better..... I think the CPU would have been enough and I bought the wrong tool for the job overall. Although it is not lagging in anything for sure, but I don't think I needed a powerful graphic card really....... At least I have not seen myself use it for anything useful yet, everything seem to use the CPU. And this computer sucks energy like...... Way to much for a laptop. So I am thinking I might sell it and look for something else.... I don't know. It is not bad, it is just..... to to hungry for energy and I am not sure I really need a computer like this.... A gaming computer. Well.... One can hope, I guess the Bible game comes around, but still this could probably have been done with the internal Intel Graphics that seems to do very well already. Anyway. I will continue the journey, at the moment testing Video settings for AV1 and..... Clearly have some issues that needs to be sorted out and video is not images, so.... will probably take somewhat longer to hit the nail on the head for settings. Anyway, I am here to help if anyone needs it on Subs, Images and somewhat in the future on Videos. I will post my stuff as it goes, to condense it for anyone who seeks it. |
