U can also split it in two components.
on main page u fetch project data

And then on child component fetch manager and display manager there.
So whenever project.id changes u can add :key= to child component that is project.id and whenever project.id changes it will re-mount component and re-fetch the data again

I know what you mean and how it works, but i think it's overly complicated tbh. there must be a clean way of doing this.

I'd probably make the key as a getter as we now allow reactive keys. that way, you don't have to necessarily use a watcher!
