This is a known problem in openSUSE Tumbleweed (https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1236026). I do not know exactly why. I have compiled the source code using Qt6 in openSUSE tumbleweed and sqlitebrowser is running well. |

As referenced in the linked report and as a quick search inside the issues shows, this is a known problem, although being related to wrong dependencies being pulled in: #3829 As for openSUSE, this mostly is an issue with downstream packaging. |

Dear Hernán,
sorry for not answering so long, but I was waiting for an (official) release
of sqlitebrowser to work again - and today it did for the first time since
long.
Thank you for your answer!
Regards
Hans

The error was reintroduced to tumbleweed a couple of days back. The reason: the maintainer of As this back and forth was annoying me a bit I created a fixed package here https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/home%3Azipat%3Abranches%3Asqlitebrowser/sqlitebrowser If you don't want to compile it yourself, you can use my branch on tumbleweed, I will maintain this until the official zypper ar -f https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/zipat:/branches:/sqlitebrowser/openSUSE_Tumbleweed/ zipat:branches:sqlitebrowser

When trying to start sqlitebrowser from a bash shell (Tumbleweed 20250128; Qt Version: 6.8.1; KDE PLasma: 6.2.5), I get the above Qt-error message. Does sqlitebrowser need any other version of Qt? Or what else can I do to get it running?
