Color of comments is barely legible in Carbon High Contrast Theme #1342

I know i can customize it, but i think the default color should be changed. |

Hi @sharathdaniel and thanks for your feedback! The contrast and lightness in the theme are based on years of testing and tweaking. It’s not possible to please everyone with every aspect of the theme (there are many factors to consider, like HDR screens, brightness level, screen NITS, environment light, etc...), what is unreadable for your may be too bright for others. So, you can use the VS Code theme customizations API to personalize the theme to your liking. Check out our guide here for more details. Said that, we noticed a small inconsistency in the comments brightness across the Carbon variants. Don’t worry, it’s all set to be fixed in the upcoming release. Stay tuned! |
