They were two cognitive ability measures, namely Raven's Advanced Progressive Matrices (APM) (Raven, 1965) and Graduate Managerial Assessment: Verbal (GMA-V) (Blinkhorn, 1985); one cognitive style measure, namely Kirton Adaption-Innovation Inventory (KAI) (Kirton, 1976) which consisted of the subscales originality (OKAI), efficiency (EKAI), and rule/group conformity (RKAI); and one personality measure, namely Eysenck Personality Questionnaire (EPQ) (Eysenck & Eysenck, 1975) consisting of the sub-scales of extraversion (
EEPQ), psychoticism (PEPQ) and neuroticism (NEPQ).
