Marubeni Corporation (TYO: 8002), a Japanese trading company, Innovation Network Corporation of Japan (
INCJ), a government-sponsored private equity corporation, have agreed to acquire Seajacks International from funds controlled by Riverstone Holdings, a conventional and renewable energy firm.
Last November Panasonic reached a broad agreement with the
INCJ on the sale of the Panasonic display plant as it decided to scale down its money-losing television business.
