The annual data (1977-2004) is obtained from the Korea National Statistical Office (KNSO) and Ministry of Health and Welfare in Korea.

What it really illustrates though, is a household budget cycle of about six to seven weeks, or approximately half the quarterly cycle measured by the Korea National Statistics Office (KNSO) household time series.
