RIGA -- The financially troubled KVV Liepajas Metalurgs, a metal works company in the seaport town of Liepaja, is not quite a write off yet, said Uldis Sesks, the town's mayor, in an interview with commercial LNT television on Tuesday, March 22.

Ambassador to Latvia Judith Garber, Liepaja Mayor Uldis Sesks, as well as representatives from the Latvian Naval Forces, Latvian Reserve Officers Union and the Youth Guard.

During a meeting with Liepaja Mayor Uldis Sesks (Liepaja Party) and Deputy Mayor Gunars Ansins (Liepaja Party), the two sides discussed various development projects at the port, as well as cooperation between Latvian and British companies.
