In the current state of the world, art budgets have been slashed and people just don’t have the expendable income they once did, because many are fighting to survive. I’m bringing my art back to the people by shifting to new smaller sizes, because art should be accessible to everyone. I will still do some giant pieces, because I love telling big stories, but I will also have new and more affordable options for you to take home today. I also offer installments. You shouldn’t have to be rich to take home a piece of art that can enrich your life and your soul.

I finally made some minis of my “Portals To A Better Place.” For many years, I’ve avoided making originals under 12in, but I decided it was time. I want to bring my art back to the people and make it more accessible. If you connect with my art, I want there to be an accessible option for you. I also wanted to create an option that would allow you to get a set, because these portals can and should be placed anywhere and everywhere. It’s like you can step into another world. Share them with friends. Share them with family. There are times we could all use a portal to a better place ❤️

As a big time introvert with an issue or 50, it’s challenging for me to be out in front of people a lot, but I absolutely recognize the value it has. I’ve been pushing myself beyond my comfort zone to get back in front of people for live painting, teaching, and showing my art more in a number of galleries. Social media is a great tool, but it can also be a crutch that prevents us from making real connections with people. There is no substitute for face to face interaction and the relationships it can build.
