    A werecat cat named Thomas falls in love with his human named Audrey. She is his mate but how to tell her what he is. There are many dangers revealing his shifter side, other humans, and the hunters whose beliefs is to exterminate all shifters.

    The character of Thomas is fearful of telling Audrey what she mean to him and betrayal to the Hunters by a friend which happened to him once. But do you still have the loving and support of his family. Audrey has some insecurities because she is curvy and she doesn't feel that Thomas would love her. The other needs to overcome their fears and fall in love. The emotional turmoil of these two lovers and drama from being hunted is the basis of the story.

    Highly recommended. I enjoyed it so much and put the next book of the series on my list.

    I enjoyed this quick read. Shifters, hunters, and fated mates. Pretty much everything you need in about 60 pages. Audrey is a shy girl going to culinary school in hopes of some day owning a bakery. Every week she goes to the farmers market and hopes that she can get a peek at Thomas. Thomas' family owns the local apple orchard. 60 acres of trees with lots of privacy, just what a werecat would need. He has trust issues with humans but knows in his heart that Audrey is different.

    The couple is attacked by Hunters, merciless humans hell-bent on removing shifters from the planet. It adds a dose of drama and suspense to the short story. I would have liked a bit more character development and background, but for the length I think the author did well. I enjoyed it and recommend it to anyone looking for a sweet (with a bit of heat) shifter read.

    Needing many bushels of apples which will be used to bake pies for a fundraiser, Audrey goes to her favorite vendor, Monroe’s Apple Orchard, and it has the type that she wants. In order to get them to her home, the brother of the women selling the apples offers to help. After getting all the fruit inside, Thomas makes a surprise offer. Audrey just hopes he follows up and calls her later.

    The Hunted series starts off with a story about a leopard shifter and human, and though there is lots of sexual attraction between Thomas and Audrey, she does not know the huge fact that he keeps hidden. While I did enjoy the premise of the story plus the couple were likable, the emotional connection was not fully conveyed as there is a big jump in time. I like knowing what not only brought a couple together but also the things which kept them in a relationship and not much related to this detail was included. There are some amusing scenes where Thomas and Audrey are just getting to know one another, as some of their reactions have complications. PURRFECT MATCH is an interesting paranormal romance, and I would like to discover more about the main characters.

    Poorly written and in need of a good editor, this story does not live up to its potential. There are significant spelling and grammar errors and it is filled with cliches; the heroine turns to putty in his hands twice during the sex scene, which also feels out of place.

    The shortness of the story makes everything happen abruptly and without any pretense. Him being a shifter comes out in his thoughts and you never see it until the end of the book. You just have to accept that he's a shifter and not delusional.
