Doom Patrol 2 Paperback – July 26, 2016
Purchase options and add-ons
In forging their new path, the reborn World's Strangest Heroes left behind almost every vestige of normality. Though they are super-powered beings, and though their foes are bent on world domination, all that is conventional ends there. Shunned as freaks and outcasts, and tempered by loss and insanity, this band of misfits faces threats so mystifying in nature and so corrupted in motive that reality itself threatens to fall apart around them ' but it's still all in a day's work for the Doom Patrol.
Written by Grant Morrison and featuring art by Richard Case, Mark McKenna, Kelley Jones, Mike Dringenberg and Steve Yeowell, DOOM PATROL BOOK TWO collects issues #35-50 of the groundbreaking series and includes a foreword and special sketchbook section from Morrison.

Editorial Reviews
Review
— The Atlantic
“Provides readers with a healthy dose of the off-the-wall and the philosophical, concocting a sequential art acid trip that is more Jefferson Airplane than capes and cowls.”
—Miami Herald
“Watch out for Grant Morrison. He’s a regular comics apocalypse.”
— Spin
About the Author
In his secret identity, Morrison is a “counterculture” spokesperson, a musician, an award-winning playwright and a chaos magician. He is also the author of the New York Times bestseller Supergods, a groundbreaking psycho-historic mapping of the superhero as a cultural organism. He divides his time between his homes in Los Angeles and Scotland.

That said, I have been enjoying reading about Danny the Street. It's labeled a transvestite street because it is lined with stereotypically MANLY stores like gun shops, barbers, and the Army/Navy Store, yet Danny has decorated its storefronts with DELICATE flowers and FEMININE window dressings.
