Andre is a drinks, food, and travel writer. He has been an award-winning restaurant critic and wine and cocktail columnist. In a former life, he was a bass player and DJ. He is also the author of the Booze & Vinyl titles, as well as Bar Menu, Booze Cruise and more.

Tenaya is a food writer, blogger, journalist, and educator in Philadelphia. She pens the blog Madame Fromage (madamefromageblog.com) and is the author of The Di Bruno Bros. House of Cheese. By day, she teaches writing at Saint Joseph's University.

What a great book!Love the “The Art of Choke” cocktail from Hitchcock’s Rope or the Champagne and Berries cocktail parfait from Breakfast at Tiffany’s. Easy recipes inspired by all my favorite movies: Annie Hall, Moonstruck, Roman Holiday, Did you know that Cher was 40 and Nicolas Cage 22 when they kissed in Moonstruck?Gave one as a gift and kept the other one... I might do a theme party soon!

    This book traces the history of films and food or drinks that go with them. Each chapter covers a different film tells you something about it and gives recipes for food and cocktails either in the film or inspired by it.

    for example Casablanca has a Morrocan dish that certainly they might have eaten in the city but never drank, and a french 75- a wonderful cocktail that you do hear ordered. over all it's fun. If you love movies or cooking it is a fun little book and you might even want to watch the movies . though I'll confess. it will be a long time before I want to try the avacado based booze they suggest for 'rope'

Some of their ideas parallel mine, some ARE. mine, some are so much better than mine that I'll never tell ANYBODY they weren't mine I adore these two and their menus/recipes that can even apply to similarly themed newer movies.
