This is the tentative plan ya..

since haze mao has meeting on Thursday, propose to leave on Thursday evening/late afternoon instead of right after exam. Then we stay a night and come back the following day after (late) lunch? :)

I've checked up some of the backpacker places available. The budget remains around RM15-20 per person. but of course won't be 5-star type rooms lah. I recommend rooms over dorms lah.. about RM5 diff for more privacy, space and personal toilet. :p (not to mention safety!)

Now, siapa tuan punya kereta yang willing to drive down? For now the confirmed(?) people going will be -

no matter. we need 2 cars. i can drive. but my car can't go very fast for long distance and neither would it be very comfy sitting 5 for a 2 hour journey. if the passengers don't mind. i'm fine. :)

Travel (I'm counting it as 0.20 per km. if more, let me know. i recalculate)

RM26 + RM12.4 (toll) = RM64.4 / 5 = RM13 (rounding)

RM13 x 2 (return trip) = RM26 + RM4 (travel within malacca) = RM30

Stay

not more than RM20 per person

Food

RM30 can eat till drop

so total = RM80 per person or less.. 

depending on how much you eat individually.

Here are some quick facts/guides/whatever you wanna call em --

Genting
Suggest to take public transport up. since only dawg's car is fit to travel up the hill.
- travel from One U got promo now. RM38 for return (bus ans sky train) PLUS themepark PLUS got buffet wah... (it's subject to change thou. not sure if still valid) if not, it's RM8.50 one way.

Other food and entertainment will be slightly steeper (i.e. movie, shows, etc)

if opt to go theme park, suggest that everyone goes together lah, no fun if half go then half don't go.

for over night stay, prolly about 20+ per person, and need to cram a bit lah..

nice, cold weather. :p

If driving down will be more ex. about RM15 person one way

Staying can range from RM15-RM20+ depending. but mostly no need to cram. backpackers lodges.

Food damn cheap. entertainment affordable (normal movie price lah, or photo taking etc.)

Basically, just eating all the way.

Well girl, you beat me to an emo goodbye post :) Thanks for all the memories. Truthfully, all of you are really the first real group of friends I ever had (I was a geeky, lonely idiot in school haha). To have people you can celebrate your birthday with, people who would go lengths to help you, to have people to talk to during dinner time and to share secrets, hopes and dreams together. I thank God for all of you and for letting me experience such beautiful people.

I'm going to internship soon (hopefully to MFX) and I cannot, cannot imagine coming back, when I'm done, to a place where all my dearest friends are gone. It'll be terribly lonely I guess. But I'll still have David hah.

Sometimes, it's funny how far we've come together. Such a disparate group of people! I suppose since we all spoke English mainly, that was a similarity :P I remember thinking of Haze, Celine & Auds when I first saw them as really cun chicks (ya'll were the Cun Chick Collective :D) (still think so but + Shien Sim & Charel as well :D). Haha, I couldn't imagine at that time that we'd be be in the same group of friends! Some left us too - Lesly and Tan, sort of, do miss them.

Forgive me people if I was ever an ass, particularly to a dear friend who seems to be on non-friendly speaking terms with me anymore. I didn't mean to hurt anyone if I did.

Seems that personal addresses are in vogue, so:

To the guys of my house: YOU ROCK MAN! I love ya'll but not to the extent of wanting to initiate gay relationships haha. Late night multiplayers - DoW etc., crazy things we did, shout at the bridge lar, turn of the main switch in the hostel campus and caused a blackout in 1/2 of B2 hostel, set off firecrackers into the other half of hostel, super late McDs and other shit. Friends for life. May ya'll be great men.

To Dwong: I could always count on you in a transport pinch. You saved my butt a couple of times. I will definitely miss your drawn out explanations in a wacky, somewhat British Jeremy Irons-style commentaries. I will miss Alfa too. You are a great guy and friend, my man. Now, prepare to be molested.

To Celine: Thank you for being so much to me: Biking comrade, swimming companion, study partner, pest control client, confidante and many other things. Though you didn't win the Elianto pageant, you were the prettiest girl on stage that night. You're not fat (I think slim, really). Don't listen to the others. I will miss you a lot, definitely.

To Hazie: Love you girl for all the good things you are and some of the weirder things... :D Will miss your cooking, your mao-mao salutations, your crazy laughter, your bling-bling pants and someone I could refer to for questions on work. Thank you for being my at-times confidante. I blame you for my brother calling me 'mao-mao fat'.

To Vinn: I really don't know you all that well. But I think you're cute, funny and I love your clean-freakiness. Makes me feel just at home. Haha. Good luck for the future.

To Audrey: Keep the bounce. I see you do that less nowadays but keep the love going. It gives me such cheer to see you bounce up & down. Not forgetting your nice smile. :) like this yeah. Your cheeriness, when you are, is infectious like your laughter is.

To Shien Sim: You are one crazy girl, you know that. You are fun to be with, tell crazy jokes and stories about weird/strange people, have no qualms and rarely backstab and come up with wacky, great ideas on anything. We guys will remember you as our supper chap and I will remember you as my personal palm rest (aka 'head massage'). Thank you so much for downloading all that crap for me that night even though you were busy (I guess). P.S. If you didn't delete Bambino yet, it's a watch. Lots of nice Italaian food to whet your senses. 

To Charel: Yours is the hardest to write for so many reasons. Thank you for listening to me when I had no one else to turn to, for inviting me to dinner, for your spontaneous movie/series viewing sessions, providing me with stuff to watch and esoteric music which I almost always loved and all the other moments that we shared. I'll always remember the crazy rushed time we had finishing Identity Design :D. You added jazz into my life. I'm not angry with you for anything. I never was. But if you are, please find it in your heart to forgive me. Remain the beautiful person I'll always remember you to be.

God bless all of you. Please let's all remain friends till we're all greying. Haha, I won't have it any other way.

P.S. To all of you still struggling with work, assignments and submissions, do your very best. I'm praying for all of you. Don't give up till the very end. Also, pray for me that I'll get internship somewhere, won't fail and come back in one piece :) Love all of you. Cheerio.

We've come to our last lap of this life's chapter. I must say that it's been the fastest 4 years of my life but honestly, the best. It wouldn't have been the same if it weren't for you guys who toiled together throughout endless nights of suffering with assignments, pulling through the down times and sharing the good ones.

This may sound so cheesy but here goes:

Dennis, thank you for always being there and keeping everything sane when things go tits up. Thanx for always trying your best to help me when I'm in need of something (whatever it may be). I didn't realize our parting was just good-bye. I wish you all the best in your internship and your future undertakings. Do come and visit us in cyber when you're working. Will miss you! *hugz*

Ivan, for all this while I've known you, I think I've spoken to you most this semester. Haha! But I will always miss your animated ways of speaking and somehow, your big-headed thinking that you're handsome...We didn't go cycling or swimming this semester. Next sem yea? Cheerz for the 4 years of friendship and more to come.

Kor Kor Chai the cranium crusher. Being next to you makes me feel reallyyyy young all the time and I have no idea why. Thank you for the laughs we've had, cranium crushers and being my Kor Kor Chai. I should really record your "tagline/word". ;) Only you can say it and make me not wanna say it back.

David, I'm glad to say we're still part of the same gang and having a ball of a time with each other and the rest. Thank you for always driving when we go out as a group. I will surely miss your sarcastic funny lines and your acting. Do keep in touch even when we've all graduated and good on our way to join the rat race.

D-wong, what can I say? Alot actually but I shall sum things up. You've always been the neutral one (not to mention stoned 24/7) and enjoyed a good drive. I remember the time we pulled you out to go and save Charel's pc when she was still staying at the hostel in Beta without signing the form for the guards. Haha! I must say that the memories here have certainly got your face in alot of the scenes. Excellent!

Tan, this is what you've chosen but may this friendship continue as strong as ever. Take care and hope you gain weight soon. :P Thanx for being the cleanest housemate I've had and the late night chats. They made some of my very first memories in that house.

Haze mao mao, I just love everything about you. I didn't get to know you as how I would have loved to but nonetheless, I'm still thankful that we did anyway. Thank you for being the fat mao and being so random. I will miss your ways when you cook, watch series, order food, read a book and get all excited as if you were watching a movie and play with your sugar gliders. Here's one big hug and kiss for you! Sim, I will repeat this time and time again but I will NEVER forget the first time I ever met you. Even when I'm old and senile. Everytime I see your face, you never fail to make me smile or laugh. Charel, my first ever friend in uni. I will always remember when we sang in the atrium during ori and thought that Avi was a ghost. For crying out loud, we were 17! (ok, I was) But anyway, if that marked the beginning of a lifelong friendship, it'll be a song worth singing. Thank you for listening to me when I was in my downest moments and ironing S*** out whenever you had to. You've always had my back and held on strongly to principles. Audrey. Well girl, here we are. Still running together to finish this race. I will hold on to your hand for as long as I can till we make it together. I can never thank you enough for all the times you've been there for me. Especially when I was sick..like really sick and having to clean up the puke from you car. Ewww...even I feel it. 4 years of going through classes, CF, outings and it just doesn't seem enough, does it? But time has caught up and I realize how much we've missed out on each other in between. I hope that this final sem will be able to patch up for lost time albeit all that we have to do. Love you lots, girl...more than you know. *HUGZ*

I've loads to say to each and every one of you. It doesn't seem like 4 years but I pray with all my heart that this isn't the end. I'm sorry for anything I've done wrong. I hope you find it in your hearts to forgive me at times when I've wronged you. May our last sem be one filled with memories to last a lifetime. GENTING ROADTRIP!!!

PEOPLE OF THIS BELOVED BLOG!!!

There's gonna be a road trip to Genting's on the 19th August 2007 (Sunday). It's a one day...heck, it's just one AFTERNOON, trip. Hehe. Here's how it goes...

Well, was thinking since we haven't been out together in such a long time so I thought, "Hey, what say we go to Gentings for a trip together!" Then I gave myself a pat on the back for being such a genius.

For those of you who don't know about it, I've been shortlisted to be one of Elianto's First Ambassador finalists and the pre-voting before the finale will be in Genting on the 19th August 2007. It will be from 2pm - 4pm at First World Hotel, Universal Walkway.

I havent got a reply about entrance fees but most likely it'll cost you RM0.00. It would be great to have your support and warmth up there. =D

If you really can't make it for Genting, no sweat, the finale is on the 7th September 2007 (Friday) at Sg. Wang Plaza from 7pm - 9pm.
