We are excited to announce that Cap-IM is moving to a brand new server!
Complete with all the bells and whistles: custom emoji, fun roles, new dedicated hang-out spaces where we will be hosting write-ins, art-ins, games, movie nights, and more!
This current Cap-IM server will be decommissioned at the end of May 2025, due to some security risks with server access. Your accounts are safe, promise! But we want to make sure Cap-IM discord remains private and safe for all members.
After June 1st, 2025, we will only be updating in the new server. We encourage anyone who wants to, to download anything only posted to this server and save it, or else ask a @comm-mod from the Cap-IM team to archive it for posterity on the new server. Cap-IM Big Bang Survey: ALL YEARS
Hello, SteveTony citizens!
The Cap-IM Big Bang has been part of our comm and fandom tradition since its inception in 2008. That’s almost 20 years! In recent years, though, our participation has dwindled to near-endangerment and we’re currently thinking about new ways to restructure and rekindle the event. Longfic is such an important part of our fannish ecosystem and we really want to continue to do everything we can to foster the creation of new longform SteveTony works!
To that end, we present a survey about the Big Bang that is open to anyone who has ever participated! Fully anon, unless you don’t want it to be and leave us your contact info at the end. We’re grateful for anything you’re willing to share with us about your past experiences with the BB! (Please feel free to circulate this to anyone you know that’s done a BB in the past.)

STONY BINGO! 2024 Round 2 Masterpost
Saying goodbye to my first and favorite bingo card! I really loved all these prompts, and I’m so glad some of them made it to my new @cap-ironman bingo card so I still have a chance to create for them. I know it doesn’t look like it, but I MANAGED TO GET A BINGO!!! I needed to use two Monthly Missions for it to replace squares, but I did it ❤️

Steve and Tony were together for four years before breaking up due to the events of Civil War. Since then, Tony got back together with and divorced from Pepper. When seven years after their breakup Steve seeks Tony out in his lakehouse, Tony has to decide if he has it in him to give their relationship another chance.

hi again -- sorry to bombard you with more questions but i'm strategizing over here... 👀
question about bingo-in-one + adoptables: if sticking to the one adoptable-per-month rule, could you also apply this to the bingo-in-one option if you swap a different square for the same fic using adoptables from later months?
for instance: say that i'm considering writing a bingo-in-one longfic for a line which contains two incompatible squares (e.g. "canon compliant" and "AU no powers"), and one square that would be a real stretch to try to work in. could i use one of the march adoptables, for instance, to swap out one of the incompatible squares— then later use another adoptable from a different month (say, april) to swap out the trickier square, on the same fic? then submit a fic that uses two adoptables (from different months) and three squares in a line on my card to get a bingo-in-one?

I was reviewing the rules and realized I never said anything about how to use adoptables with bingo in one, so yes, that is allowed!
