English: Party per pale, first argent a sailboat proper in full sail on a sea azure, second argent a laraha vert on a mount in base of the same, overall a inescutcheon gules a pale sable three saltorels argent (Amsterdam)
Français : Parti, au premier d'argent à un vaisseau au naturel portant un pavillon des Pays-Bas voguant sur une mer d'azur, au second d'argent au bigaradier terrassé de sinople fruité au naturel, sur le tout de gueules au pal de sable chargé de trois flanquis d'argent (qui est d'Amsterdam)
Le vaisseau rappelle les armes de la Compagnie néerlandaise des Indes occidentales, qui fonda une colonie sur l'île. Le bigaradier (voir laraha) porte les sortes d'oranges amères à l'origine du curaçao. L'écusson aux armes d'Amsterdam rappelle que la colonie appartint à cette ville.
