polls my locg says my Batman (character) count is just over 1.5k and knowing the overlaps/cameos/Batman-adjacent comics I’ve read… I would say 2k+ is a pretty good estimate if we’re also counting Batman adjacent comics like Batgirl/Catwoman/NW/etc runs I’m abt to hit 4.5k overall :) still trying to branch out my reading & need to get back into sharing my thoughts with y’all here will be interested to see where this poll ends up. it def feels with overall fandom trends that more ppl tend towards the ‘have not read much’ side of things obvi (no shade! just observation!) anyways if anyone’s reading these tags & wants some comic recs i GOT U FAM. If/when this site finally dies it’s slow heat death, I’ll probs post a bunch of fic all at once on ao3 intermittently until another suitable webbed site is found so uhhhh

Update: I forgot that my shoes are VERY obvsly not ones I normally wear (normal is a pair of converse, which don’t get me wrong, are great, but don’t quite fit the romantic vampire look I got goin)

But now I’m just imagining how funny that would be as a drawing/editing meme like “oh hey Clark/Diana/etc” *looks down* “uhhh… cool shoes?”

Sometimes you have to bully your loved ones a little. One time I was venting to my sister about feeling unwanted and I used a metaphor about a house fire and she said “OK riddler” and I realized I was wearing a green coat and glasses and now whenever I get a grimdark angst spiral that’s all I can think about.
