Afaik, it’s still kind of a collaboration between Sanrio and Liz Lisa but it’s not sold through Liz Lisa stores so it’s not exactly a Liz Lisa product and has it’s only labels/tags/branding. It was commonly sold through Shimamura (https://www.shimamura.gr.jp/shimamura/) where clothes have a much lower retail price. Ex. dresses retail closer to $35-40. They’re not fakes but they aren’t the same quality or kinds of designs since they have a different vendor and target customer.
I could be wrong a lot about a lot of that because I can’t read very much Japanese but that’s just my impression based on what I could figure out a few years ago.
