While it can definitely be challenging to find some information on directors, I feel you could have detailed more of Booth's films she was apart of and how she came to be apart of them. On top of this more links could have been added to the articles she'd done over having the article highlighted of where she was buried. However with what detail you'd discovered you kept the article very to the perspective of third person, and highlighting basic info on Margaret Booth in the small box was a very nice touch. Rate | Attribute | Review Comment |
---|---|---|
1. Well-written: | ||
1a. the prose is clear, concise, and understandable to an appropriately broad audience; spelling and grammar are correct. | The prose looks good here I have no complaints. IntentionallyDense (talk) 03:48, 12 October 2024 (UTC) | |
1b. it complies with the Manual of Style guidelines for lead sections, layout, words to watch, fiction, and list incorporation. | IntentionallyDense (talk) 03:48, 12 October 2024 (UTC) | |
2. Verifiable with no original research, as shown by a source spot-check: | ||
2a. it contains a list of all references (sources of information), presented in accordance with the layout style guideline. | IntentionallyDense (talk) 03:48, 12 October 2024 (UTC) | |
2b. reliable sources are cited inline. All content that could reasonably be challenged, except for plot summaries and that which summarizes cited content elsewhere in the article, must be cited no later than the end of the paragraph (or line if the content is not in prose). | I'm unable to access some of the sources due to IA being down but I'll verify what I can. I checked the online sources and downloaded the books used through other means. IntentionallyDense (talk) 03:48, 12 October 2024 (UTC) | |
2c. it contains no original research. | IntentionallyDense (talk) 03:48, 12 October 2024 (UTC) | |
2d. it contains no copyright violations or plagiarism. | IntentionallyDense (talk) 03:48, 12 October 2024 (UTC) | |
3. Broad in its coverage: | ||
3a. it addresses the main aspects of the topic. | IntentionallyDense (talk) 03:48, 12 October 2024 (UTC) | |
3b. it stays focused on the topic without going into unnecessary detail (see summary style). | IntentionallyDense (talk) 03:48, 12 October 2024 (UTC) | |
4. Neutral: it represents viewpoints fairly and without editorial bias, giving due weight to each. | IntentionallyDense (talk) 03:48, 12 October 2024 (UTC) | |
5. Stable: it does not change significantly from day to day because of an ongoing edit war or content dispute. | IntentionallyDense (talk) 03:48, 12 October 2024 (UTC) | |
6. Illustrated, if possible, by media such as images, video, or audio: | ||
6a. media are tagged with their copyright statuses, and valid non-free use rationales are provided for non-free content. | IntentionallyDense (talk) 03:48, 12 October 2024 (UTC) | |
6b. media are relevant to the topic, and have suitable captions. | IntentionallyDense (talk) 03:48, 12 October 2024 (UTC) | |
7. Overall assessment. | Because of IA being down I'm going to put this on hold until I can check some of the sources more. IntentionallyDense (talk) 03:48, 12 October 2024 (UTC) |
- The link for ref 19 is giving me a 404 error just a heads up. IntentionallyDense (talk) 03:48, 12 October 2024 (UTC)
- There is a reference in the works cited section that appears to be unused. IntentionallyDense (talk) 03:48, 12 October 2024 (UTC)
- I can't access the Unterberger ref due to IA being down and I can't find anything by that name in the websites I use to download books. I'm going to hope that IA is up and running soon just because that source is used for a good chunk of this article, but until then I'm going to mark the source review on hold and continue with the rest of my review. IntentionallyDense (talk) 03:48, 12 October 2024 (UTC)
- The Brownlow 1968 source isn't verifying the info present but this may be an issue with the version I downloaded. IntentionallyDense (talk) 03:48, 12 October 2024 (UTC)
- Which of the Brownlow citations are you referring to? PrinceArchelaus (talk) 05:14, 18 October 2024 (UTC)
- By this time, Booth had graduated from Los Angeles High School. Since this subsection has a date range I think it would be worth specifying when "this time" is. If it isn't in sources then this isn't a big deal. IntentionallyDense (talk) 03:48, 12 October 2024 (UTC)
- @PrinceArchelaus: There as some issues that need to be addressed before I can move on with this review and the one week timeframe to respond to feedback is running out so I just wanted to remind you that I've put this review on hold. IntentionallyDense (talk) 03:55, 18 October 2024 (UTC)
- Understood. PrinceArchelaus (talk) 05:01, 18 October 2024 (UTC)
