editI noticed that you tagged War 2 (2025 film) for speedy deletion. I have removed the tag from the page because it does not meet the criterion or criteria specified. Please fully read Wikipedia:Criteria for speedy deletion before tagging pages for speedy deletion. Thank you. It didn't meet the criteria for A1. — rsjaffe 🗣️ 00:29, 11 November 2024 (UTC)
Hi there, thanks for patrolling new article creations. Please keep WP:NPPHOUR in mind when you do this, though, and don't tag articles for speedy deletion while it's clear that their authors are still working on them. Thank you. -- asilvering (talk) 20:57, 14 November 2024 (UTC)
- Hi, just another reminder to please not CSD very new articles, thank you. -- asilvering (talk) 06:08, 15 November 2024 (UTC)
Declining drafts
editHi, I see that you declined Draft:Lawrence "Larry" Waks at AfC due to the author having a declared COI. This is not a valid reason for declining a draft, and in fact, AfC is the preferred method for editors having a conflict of interest, so reviewers can check whether the article is neutral and fits our guidelines. In this case, the article is still a fair bit away from what we would expect, and I've declined it again, but a COI alone should not be a reason to decline a draft. ArbCom 2024 Elections voter message
editHello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2024 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}}

Draft:Schools Division Office of Taguig City and Pateros
editHi! I noticed you declined Draft:Schools Division Office of Taguig City and Pateros at AfC due to Draft:Schools Division Office of Taguig City and Pateros § Schools not being in "chart table" format. While I'm not an administrator or member of the Wikipedia:WikiProject Articles for creation, as a concerned fellow editor, I want to notify you that this is not a valid reason for declining a draft. In fact, according to WP:AFCSTANDARDS, avoid declining an article because you personally don't like the citation style or formatting
. The fourth standard (avoid declining an article because it contains formatting issues
) may also be applied in this situation.
You can fix it or talk to the nominator about the formatting issue. Please avoid making the same error next time on other drafts so as not to cause time and inconvenience to the nominators and/or other editors. Thank you. AstrooKai (Talk) 15:46, 19 November 2024 (UTC)
- Okay, I'll check it tomorrow. Thanks for correcting me. Royiswariii Talk! 16:05, 19 November 2024 (UTC)
- Noting that your decline rationale at Draft:Keller's reagent (disambiguation) is also unclear:
It doesn't need a disambiguation page of Keller's reagent because of WP:REDLINK.
(Which redlink? Why?)In fact, while there is no need for a page ending in (disambiguation), a disambiguation at the main title (Keller's reagent) would be welcome given the split. Chaotic Enby (talk · contribs) 16:24, 19 November 2024 (UTC)- Hello, @Chaotic Enby!
- Before that, there is a draft article on Keller's Reagent, I declined it because it's a redlink and it shouldn't be first to approve the disambiguation because the other articles are on draft so I declined it for the meantime. I'm trying to say is to approve first the Keller's reagent (metallurgy), Keller's reagent (organic) before the Disambiguation to not have a conflict. Royiswariii Talk! 09:32, 20 November 2024 (UTC)
- No, these two articles you link are in mainspace, not drafts. Chaotic Enby (talk · contribs) 09:37, 20 November 2024 (UTC)
- I mean before this conflict, I see Keller's reagent (disambiguation) on afc review, and I ignore it. Then, I see Keller's reagent (organic) and Keller's reagent (metallurgy) on afc review, I back on Keller's reagent (disambiguation) to declined because I saw that the two articles is in review, that's why I declined as WP:REDLINK but my fault too that i should say that there is a in review two articles. Royiswariii Talk! 09:44, 20 November 2024 (UTC)
- Oh, my bad, didn't realize they were still drafts by then. I see that the disambiguation was already moved to the main page, so it's all good. Chaotic Enby (talk · contribs) 10:38, 20 November 2024 (UTC)

- Hi, please also don't decline articles for "tone" alone, except in the absolute most egregiously bad cases. Anything that can be fixed by "normal editing" is fine - just accept and tag with whatever relevant maintenance tags. You're welcome to use the "tone" decline alongside other declines where applicable (eg, notability not demonstrated AND tone problems). -- asilvering (talk) 22:03, 19 November 2024 (UTC)
- It is also not required that articles have infoboxes, let alone drafts. Many editors who submit drafts to AfC are very new and find infoboxes confusing, so please don't imply that they're required, as you did at Draft:Atau Kere (Novel). -- asilvering (talk) 13:07, 21 November 2024 (UTC)
- This is noted, thanks! Royiswariii Talk! 17:24, 21 November 2024 (UTC)

- Hello, AstrooKai!
- I accepted the Draft:Schools Division Office of Taguig City and Pateros for some considerations:
- 1. I checked some created article like Division of City Schools–Valenzuela and they are similar to me so it's Done.
- 2. The references like Philippine News Agency that owned by government so would accept it.
- 3. I got a mistaken on charts so I'm apologize to declining without checking properly.
- This is my considerations why it accepted, if you have any questions kindly leave message here, thanks! Royiswariii Talk! 09:25, 20 November 2024 (UTC)
- Hi! I'm glad to hear this. Thank you for acknowledging it and remedying it. AstrooKai (Talk) 10:17, 20 November 2024 (UTC)
