- Delete Doesn't pass WP:NPOL. Could be argued that the subject does meet WP:GNG for the Miami Herald article, but even so, that's just one event, and it's not really a notable event at that. Jmertel23 (talk) 14:49, 22 January 2019 (UTC)
- Delete fails WP:GNG, WP:NPOL. SportingFlyer T·C 18:48, 22 January 2019 (UTC)
- Delete. Being a non-winning candidate for mayor of a city does not constitute an WP:NPOL pass in and of itself, but this does not demonstrate any credible claim to preexisting notability for other reasons and is not referenced anywhere close to well enough to make his unsuccessful candidacy a special case over and above most other people's unsuccessful candidacies. - Delete trounced candidates are never notable. Also, county leaders of a politcial party are not notable for such, let alone of a political party that holds no elective office in the county in question.John Pack Lambert (talk) 00:23, 27 January 2019 (UTC)
