This village, however only 7 kilometres away from Distt. Head Qtrs. is underdeveloped with most of the inhabitants being based on farming. This village earlier comprised of Dholi, a small village now with Diwari Panchayat. The most influential person ever of this locality was Late Pt. Dhaneshwar Jha. He was a great follower of Lord [[Krishna]]. The Villagers profoundly obeyed him. He was a man of dynamic character. With the invent of Panchayti Raj, things have started changing of late. Now more and more people are getting rights conscious.
