a visit from (Aunt) Flo
euphemism The time during which a woman menstruates; a woman's period. A pun on the female name "Flo" (a shortening of Florence) and the "flow" of blood from the uterus that occurs during menstruation. I always get horrible cramps whenever I get a visit from Aunt Flo. Do you think you might be pregnant? How long has it been since you've had a visit from Flo? Do you have any tampons? I seem to have gotten a visit from Aunt Flo a bit earlier than expected!

slang Extremely drunk or intoxicated with drugs. (A colloquial way of saying "tore up from the floor up," with "to'" being pronounced like "toe.") We all going to the club tonight to get to' up from the flo' up! They'd been mixing pills and booze all night, so they were to' up from the flo' up.
