1. noun, slang A small fart, especially one that is audible. I was so nervous next to him in the elevator that I accidentally let out a tiny poot.
2. noun, slang To let out a small fart, especially audibly. The atmosphere was so deadly serious at the dinner table after the argument. Then someone pooted, and we all burst out laughing.
