blood pact
An oath of loyalty between two or more people, especially one made in a ceremony in which small cuts made on each person's hand, finger, or arm are pressed together so that their blood can commingle. Tom and I formed a blood pact swearing that we would both keep the secret of the hidden treasure between us until the day we died. Let's all make a blood pact that we'll remain friends forever, no matter what! I made a blood pact with the king in my youth and thus will forever defend him to the utmost!
gentleman's pact
A legally non-binding arrangement that is guaranteed only by a verbal or mutually understood agreement by the parties involved. Though my father left me his entire estate in his will, I made a gentleman's pact with my brother to share the wealth equally between us. Fellows, you do realize that I have no obligation to honor a gentleman's pact, right? I know you trust him, but I'd still get him to sign something. A gentleman's pact won't get you anywhere in court.

sex pact
slang An agreement between two or more people regarding sex in some way. No, I didn't have the clichéd teenage experience—I wasn't sneaking booze or making a sex pact with my friends that we would all lose our virginity on prom night. I want to have sex regularly in my relationship, but I don't want to make a sex pact that we'll do it three times a week or something, and turn it into just another chore or obligation.
