Good Luck, Malaysia!

The idea of Bersih has been somewhat being politicised, or indeed, “racialised”. Being a participant of Bersih 4.0, I can understand how certain parties politicised the ideology behind for a cleaner, fairer, and accountable government. For example, to have a more accountable government does not simply mean Anwar Ibrahim must be released or the release of Anwar Ibrahim does not necessarily prove or demonstrate that the government will be accountable to the people. Also, there is no one Prime Minister that has so many scandals than the other.

Bersih goes far beyond politics and race; it fights for the real democracy that every Malaysian and indeed, the government ought to be supportive of. Put it simply, if a government is accountable and credible, it should not be worried about Bersih’s objectives, and indeed, should be supporting it. Sadly, this is not the case. The government has politicised and indeed, “racialised” Bersih 4.0 as a desperate attempt to save its accountability.

I do not blame the individuals that went out the street on 16.9.2015; they probably do not know and are clueless on what they are doing. Even if only Chinese is fighting for a cleaner, fairer, and accountable government (via Bersih or otherwise), how can this threatens Malay’s supremacy? This colour-blind ideology would ultimately benefit all Malaysians and at the end of the day, the Prime Minister, the Chief of Army and Police are all Malays and we are not fighting to change that. The Malays would still have the affirmative rights which in the other parts of the world and if not, most countries, are for the minority, and not the majority.

Malaysia is going backwards by engaging in racial politics - the government has politicised and indeed, “racialised” the concept of cleaner, fairer and accountable governance, as its desperate attempt to save its accountability.

Be that as it may, Mr Prime Minister, I know you would not step down but I urge you to stop "racialised" all Malaysians and start doing good for the country.

Good luck, Malaysia!

Hello Life!

Hello life!

I've been working for two months and busy is the word I hear everyday.
Busy, is a sensitive word to me; may be not to you.
Busy, for someone, is a way to avoid.
Busy, is a way to escape.
Busy, is a saying that you do not have time.
When do you have time?

Busy is a reason for everything.

Busy should be nothing.
Busy is not an excuse.
It is a matter of priority.

...and it is yourself that decide the priority.

I'm a daydreamer

[1987] 23 Year.Old.Review.

Since last year I have decided to write a review every year during my birthday.
[1987] 22 Y.O.Rev.

It reminds myself not to be greedy.
You have your aims and if you worked hard and tried your best,
if you fullfilled any of them, it's more than enough.

Last year, the aims were

" Happy Birthday to myself.
I wish all is well for all that I love.
I wish to pass CLP in one sitting.
Fingers and Heart Crossed. "
[1987] 22 Y.O.Rev.

coupled with the 2011 Aims of -

"Passing CLP, start chambering;
Healthy lifestyle, losing wieght;
Spend wisely, start saving;
Love, relationship."

I think I have not accomplished all,
but I'm contended.
I passed my CLP - yet I'm still looking for a place to chamber, might only able to start next year;
I lose weight because of CLP - hoping to reach 89 before year end, now 93;
I don't work, so it's difficult to increase my saving, but saving will be my priority next year;
The last one - everyone is asking me about and I realised on the last day of my 23 that it is an invalid aim, because you can't expect anything. If there's, then that's, it will come, so I think I'm in no rush.

I am 24, and I have nothing except a humble LLB Hons (Cardiff) and now (CLP).
I am building something more.

So what's for my 24?
I will work hard, complete my 9 months chambering, being called to the BAR
then to secure a job.
I will get to the correct BMI, of course less alcohols!may be to run a marathon?

Everything and anything else are secondary and I strongly believe everything will come eventually.

Still, I wish all is well for all that I love.
Fingers crossed.

Rock ON!

I wrote this on one of the UM Law Library's table on 23/6/2011, 14.24 having in mind that I will be seeing it again perhaps when I'm doing my chambering going back to the library for some research.

Today, I'm back in the library. I have yet to start my chambering.

"...the feeling of getting into the "3 weeks before exam" mood from absolute relaxation."
"...you got an A for Criminal Procedure and god want you to refresh your Civil Procedure."

It's okay, sj!
: )

rest in peace steve jobs.
