Anime is filled with stories and wonderful pictures.
A few of my favorite anime series are:
I think they all have wonderful and amazing storylines and they're great to watch, regardless of whether you're into dubbed or subbed anime.
Sometimes the stories I watch inspire me to draw anime sketches and try to create my own anime movie storyboards.
Studio Ghibli doesn't need to worry about the competition. I'm not very good.
I love to collect books for writers. Here is my list of the most essential books for writers. In my humble opinion, all writers should have these books on their bookshelf, desk, or Kindle.
This is a Haiku I wrote while wasting away the hours on Minecraft Central, which I think is one of the best minecraft servers in existence.

A fine, live pen crawls upstairs

One of the reasons I like Minecraft Central so much is the Prison Game, which just started up in Season 4. You can read about all the changes here. You can login to Minecraft Central by pointing your client to mc-central.net.
Here is a short story I wrote after feeling inspired by my post several weeks ago about Some Writing Advice.
This short story is called, Two Deranged Uncles Shouting to the Beat.
Georgina Giantbulb was thinking about Josh Parkes again. Josh was a vile writer with greasy moles and hairy thighs.
Georgina walked over to the window and reflected on her cold surroundings. She had always loved beautiful Upper Boggington with its defiant, damaged ditches. It was a place that encouraged her tendency to feel cross.
Then she saw something in the distance, or rather someone. It was the a vile figure of Josh Parkes.
Georgina gulped. She glanced at her own reflection. She was a gentle, giving, brandy drinker with fluffy moles and vast thighs. Her friends saw her as a precious, pong patient. Once, she had even revived a dying, kitten.
But not even a gentle person who had once revived a dying, kitten, was prepared for what Josh had in store today.
The wind blew like partying dogs, making Georgina barmy. Georgina grabbed a squidgy sandwich that had been strewn nearby; she massaged it with her fingers.
As Georgina stepped outside and Josh came closer, she could see the long smile on his face.
"Look Georgina," growled Josh, with a snooty glare that reminded Georgina of vile tortoises. "It's not that I don't love you, but I want love. You owe me 9012 pounds."
Georgina looked back, even more barmy and still fingering the squidgy sandwich. "Josh, I love you," she replied.
They looked at each other with ecstatic feelings, like two motionless, moaning mice boating at a very forgetful Christening, which had reggae music playing in the background and two deranged uncles shouting to the beat.
Suddenly, Josh lunged forward and tried to punch Georgina in the face. Quickly, Georgina grabbed the squidgy sandwich and brought it down on Josh's skull.
Josh's greasy moles trembled and his hairy thighs wobbled. He looked surprised, his wallet raw like a thankful, tasteless torch.
Then he let out an agonising groan and collapsed onto the ground. Moments later Josh Parkes was dead.
Georgina Giantbulb went back inside and made herself a nice glass of brandy.
THE END
I have a few other story ideas to share. These are just initial sketches of plot and theme and I haven't written them yet. By the way, I am doing most of my quick writing in the Bear App these days. Have you tried it yet? If you haven't here's a screenshot on my Mac. The app is also available on iPhone and iPad.
Finally, here are some potential names for characters for my Two Deranged Uncles story.
Here's some basic writing advice, inspired by Anne Lamott's Bird by Bird.
While there’s no secret formula to being a great writer, there are a few measures that are crucial.
Step one is learning stand apart from individuals the best way to relax and watch carefully.
You understand the type of individuals you see standing in the corner in a party, observing everyone? Great writers really are a strain that is similar: take notes, and they generally choose to distance themselves in the group, finding everything they see.
It’s important push anything, or to not hurry the procedure.
To put it differently, you must figure out how to pay attention. Remember to notice everything the interesting gait the exceptional way the morning light gets a fan’s profile, of a stranger thinking in regards to a childhood memory allows you to feel.
There’s another reason that noticing and finding your world is essential in being a great writer.
Whether you consider that the observations will make great content isn’t significant. Your primary job will be to try and discover the facts in what you learn the best way to work with those observations in the narrative you would like to tell, and ’ve found. That means, the truth will find its way in your writing.
Don’t hesitate to draw on previous experiences as your primary stuff. By way of example, make an effort to reflect on and write about other along with youth memories. As a writer, all things considered, you’re fortunate enough to look by any means you would like to. It's possible for you to turn over occasions in your memory digging for the truth that's buried deep within them, like fallow ground.
Taking a vacation into your personal memory bank is warranted provided that you make certain to appear carefully and write from your personal point of view as truthfully as possible. So you should analyze your self in exactly the same manner you analyze everything.
The sole means you're able to develop your personal voice is by being fair using the reader about your feelings that are authentic.
You can't find your real voice without opening some doors that are mental and confronting the truths.
This principle holds true when you’re feeling deep poisonous or despair rage. The lone way to make sure your voice represents accept them through the writing procedure and those emotions would be to confront them. You must get this done particularly when you feel something for example, in case your feelings are too distressing to analyze carefully or excessively private.
To accept your feelings in them – in other words, you must show up, to be completely alert to the method that you are feeling at just about any specified instant.
You come to recognize your truth – made of your entire experiences and emotions, both nice and poor – is your residence when you're within your feelings. It’s a cozy place to be, and it is possible to be your authentic self there.
Only write in the event you believe with each fiber of your being which you ought to write. With practice and time, you’ll finally become proficient at it.
Needless to say, that doesn’t mean it'll be simple. You will see wretched days where you’ll stare in a blank page all day. However there'll likewise be days when everything clicks and also the words flow.
The chief consideration to keep in mind is if you’re patient and motivated to see it that every day has something to offer.
For young writers, this sort of religion is advantageous. Despite the fact that may very well not be an excellent writer right away, you could become one day that is great in the event you persevere.
On the way, you may even acquire an actual yearning for the action of writing, the same manner that someone might yearn to play with music or sports. Having beliefs that you’ll become an excellent writer will, the discouragement of not writing as you consider you can replaced by the absolute love of the action itself.
How can you create such belief? Try to care about it intensely as possible, also to comprehend life. That entails additionally taking a long, hard look in not merely the large, sensational occasions and the banalities of life.
Write about everything that’s significant to you personally. Just then do you want to have the ability to seek out the correct words to explain it and feel associated together with your story.
To become a great writer, create a daily writing routine.
A typical premise about all artists, and writers, is they work when inspiration strikes.
You need to do exactly the same in the event you would like to become a much better writer.
Why? Because routine means area, and discipline means success.
First, locate somewhere to compose and go there every day, even when you’re not consistently productive.
Go to your own location to compose across an identical time daily. As a result, you ensure your unconscious mind is prepared when you arrive to give.
You could feel a bit tired and maybe won’t have the ability to do any writing in the slightest when you initially create this procedure.
The theory supporting the routine would be to make writing a daily custom.
Nevertheless, training and even routine won’t automatically make you a great writer. Remember: there’s just to writing, no secret formula.
Yet it’s critical to realize exactly how significant obligation would be to your work. Obligation, together with training and routine, is vital to your own success as a writer.
The writer acknowledges that no key was passed down through her family to aid her to compose nicely. She was given no password that enabled the code” of great writing to decode.
Instead, by thinking about every one of the nice writers she understood, the writer came to see which they were disciplined about their routine and very dedicated to their own work.
Writing is much like meditation: to help you hear your internal voice, you need certainly to calm your brain. Sticking to it religiously, and creating a daily routine, makes this potential.
