Lora Maslenitsyna is a writer from the San Francisco Bay Area, California. Currently, she is a Ph.D. student at Yale University in the combined program for Film and Media Studies and Slavic & Eurasian Literatures and Cultures. Her research has been published in Studies in Russian and Soviet Cinema, and in the edited volume, The New Russian Documentary: Reclaiming Reality in the Age of Authoritarianism.
