Watch the First 4 Minutes of Magic Movie 'Now You See Me'

The opening sequence of Now You See Me, the upcoming thriller about a quartet of illusionists who magically give away stolen cash to audiences, is now available to watch right here before the movie's May 31 release.

The clip introduces the film's star magicians known as the "The Four Horsemen" -- played by Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Dave Franco and Isla Fisher.

The preview leaves us with a cliffhanger of what appears to be a botched deadly magic trick from Fisher's character. Morgan Freeman, Mark Ruffalo, Melanie Laurent and Michael Caine also have roles in Now You See Me.

Online movie ticketer Fandango and Mashable are the first to offer the nearly four-minute sneak peek, which Fandango is also hosting on a landing page that allows people to register for a FanAlert. The alert will tell them when showtimes are posted.

Fandango, which is attracting 41 million monthly unique visitors every month and 33 million downloads of its app, continues to expand its exclusive-content inventory.

Fandango previously released the first four minutes of zombie romance flick Warm Bodies, premiered a teaser trailer for Django Unchained and debuted content for The Hunger Games, Silver Linings Playbook and End of Watch.

Most recently, Fandango exclusively unleashed the "They Got a Tank!" featurette for Fast & Furious 6 and interviewed Robert Downey Jr. for Iron Man 3 and Carey Mulligan for The Great Gatsby on its web series Weekend Ticket. Fandango's efforts are to boost anticipation for the movies before they're released and, of course, sell online tickets.

Meanwhile, Fandango's tournament-style Facebook app for Battle Bracket Royal, which has been pitting 32 of film's toughest personalities against each other, is down to the final four: Christian Bale, Harrison Ford, Bruce Willis and Bruce Lee. The app is part of Fandango's Summer of Action hub that features 14 summer movies and related content.
