Craigardan

Craigardan is a new, multi-disciplinary arts residency, farm, and educational center located in the High Peaks of New York’s Adirondack Park. This gallery features a variety of promotional images commissioned by the residency which depict life and events around the farm, August - September 2017.

Epicurean Endocrinology

Epicurean Endocrinology is a project by Liz Flyntz and Byron Rich that “uses food and vernacular cooking to examine the intersections of food production, endocrine disruptors, corporate/institutional influence and cultural ideology as they relate to biopolitics”. This gallery features images from the Feminizing Meal constructed by Liz Flyntz and chef Zach Clements at the Craigardan culinary artist residency in New York’s Adirondack Park, August 2017. The menu consisted of multiple courses - sweet potato rolls, soybean hummus with summer nasturtiums, chocolate pasta with beet carpaccio and walnuts, hops panna cotta, and a beet shandy - all of which contained ingredients with distinct estrogen-promoting properties.
