Anyway hi! I’m Shima. I like creating art of my favorite characters, crying over my ships, making too many OCs with overly complex backstories, and succumbing to new AU brainrot at least once a week. I’m also very fond of rambling in my tags so you will definitely find an essay’s worth of tags on a lot of my posts. ADHD brain makes it so that I can’t focus on anything for too long so I fandom hop a lot—just be prepared for that :’)

Why do DayQuil and NyQuil have different flavors. Like yeah maybe it’s to distinguish them easier but NyQuil tastes SO much better than DayQuil does lmao why not just make them both the same 😭

Oh you have NO idea how many times that’s happened LMAO

Most of the time I get an idea for a character design first before anything else. There are rare times when my brain will be nice and help me brainstorm lore/backstory for them as I’m designing them but it’s more common for me to design the OC first and then figure out their story later

The real fun ones are when I come up with the story BEFORE the actual character design, because then I get to implement that into their design as I go ;)

I’m SO excited for the new season!! Honestly I’ll probably have to rewatch the entire show before it comes out so I think another PnF phase is inevitable for me :“D

I’m curious as to whether the new season is taking place during the same initial summer or if this is a year later…if it is a year later I’m kinda bummed they didn’t get any major design changes :( Even on my PnF ask blog it’s 2 years post canon and there’s slight differences in everyone’s outfits/appearances. But if it’s the same summer then it’s fine. LOL

I love that Epic’s like. A really dark musical with super heavy emotion, there’s lots of blood and death and heartbreak and tragedy and betrayal, and then I go to Jorge’s Instagram page and it’s literally just videos of him and the cast being absolutely goofy dancing to the songs or being chaotic together and that makes me giggle

Yes! I actually started watching a compilation video of a whole bunch of animatics put together of the entire show, so I’ve seen a good chunk of them now :“D

Neal Illustrator’s are on a whole other level, like HOLY shit. They’ve got professional storyboard level animatics, they’re so gorgeous and well-drawn. I really really love the continuity detail they did in their Ruthlessness/Get in the Water animatics with Poseidon having all the shipwrecks in his hair, that was such a clever idea 🤧
