What is getting fixed and served at your house this week?

Was last week's plan successful, did you go off plan or did you not even plan what was going to be eaten last week.

Frugal Friday....the April 11th Edition

Here are the frugal wins for this past week....

*  I love finding marked down foods at Kroger(this really doesn't happen at Walmart).  There was a digital coupon for $1.99 strawberries this past week so I bought the limit of 5 lbs.  The lure of Ibotta sucked me back in so I bought some items for the food bank that had Ibotta offers.

*  We used up some pantry items as well.  The less we have to move the better. I'll be going through the pantry this weekend and culling a donation to the food bank.

* I finally got to take Hubs out for his birthday.  He wanted Greek food.  I paid with my WAM cash and they gave a small discount for paying with cash.

*  It's been quite warn here so the heat has been off most days.  We had to put the a/c on some days.  This house is very well insulated and keeps in the heat or a/c.

* Entertainment last week was some tv shows, You Tube, sitting on the deck reading when the pollen isn't so high.

* I found money!

I found 12¢ in the parking lot at group therapy on Tuesday.

I found a penny in the parking lot of the dr.'s office on Wednesday.

I found another penny in the foyer of Kroger on Thursday.

Found Money This Week..... .14¢

Grand Total Found in 2025....$2.34

That's all I got.

Any frugal wins in your neck of the woods?  Let's hear all about them!

Giveaway Winner!

I'm sorry it has taken me so long to post this giveaway's winner.  I've been a bit busy. ;-)

Anyway, without further ado..........

The winner of this Sluggy's Boring Blog Box is comment #8.........

I was leaving the hospital walking toward the parking deck when I saw a woman walking backwards helping her mother with a walker. I said "why dont you leave your mother here with me and go get your car?" She was very grateful and I was thankful I could help.

Congratulations to Carol!

If you would please contact me at slugmama@yahoo.com with your full name and address I'll get this all mailed out to you as soon as I can.

Thanks to everyone who played along and I might have one more box of goodies to give away before we move.

Stay tuned!
