“That’s right.”
“At the request of a princess.”
“Right again.”
“And you, who will be leading the expedition, are also a princess.”
“You’re very perceptive.”
“How big is your royal family, again?“
“We don’t have one.”
“But–“
“We overthrew our monarchy centuries ago, but we kept most of the titles around. The rank of ‘princess’ is held by the directors in charge of various civil service branches.“
“Huh. And the princess we’re rescuing today is in charge of…?”
“Public sanitation.”
“The Lord of Death’s Dominion kidnapped your public sanitation director?”
“We think he’s a little confused.”
I laughed too hard not to reblog this.
I mean. If your goal is to cause maximum death, letting trash, sewage, tainted water, and biohazardous waste pile up in a populated area with zero leadership is a pretty efficient way to go about it
I woke up this morning and my family, partner and cats were all there. Received a call, and a relative is in the hospital again. New friends are sharing skills and love with me. A family friend just passed. I’ll plant sunflowers tomorrow - I harvest them by my flowers every summer. I got the original seeds from one of my closest friends. We haven’t talked in nearly two years and his accounts will be soon deactivated. I’m working on new stories. I’ll see one of my oldest friends in less than 2 weeks.
It’s chaotic and overwhelming and frightening, but there are so, so many little good things going on. And they do add up.
Ok, you know what? It’s honestly a toss-up between these two:
Thistle And Blood - Detective!AU, with Dean and Crowley working together to track down a serial killer. There are Bobby, Rufus and Frank, as well, because how can you set a fic in Scotland without a few additional grumpy bastards with a heart of gold?

Broken Watches And Empty Hallways - self-indulgent smut with a bit of introspection, lots of hidden fluff, and a genuine adoration for Crowley and morally grey characters.
On the other hand, I love this as a literary device in fantasy. Especially with the occasional throwaway line suggesting that Borble got up to some absolutely insane batshittery, without ever actually filling in the gaps.

Do you ever miss a character from a show but not like in the way that you want to rewatch the whole show because theres so much stuff going on and thats not what youre looking for but you miss your boy
