In theory, therefore, there is nothing to oppose her from remaining a member and president of the
CoR. Moreover, Bresso - who is also demanding a recount in her region since she lost the presidency by less than 10,000 or so votes - has already indicated that she would like to remain at the head of the
CoR.Although the British Conservatives have just officially left the group, the EPP is still the dominant political party in the
CoR.
