Luxer Locker, Akhtari said, allows the delivery person to find a locker that corresponds to the package size, then use a touchscreen to notify the recipient via phone call, text, or email, with a single-use access code.
To help developers and tenants handle the influx of package deliveries, which can burden building staff with hours of sorting, some buildings have even resorted to more advanced third-party systems like those offered by the company,
Luxer One.
The total number of packages shipped and delivered in the United States to
Luxer One clients during Black Friday increased by 68 percent, compared to the week before Black Friday.
