So far, I've not been bothered by the "Noseeums" this year but will definitely try her cure of using spray deodorant on the "sweaty bits" where these wee nasties tend to gather and which, as she points out, is safer than the hottest water you can stand - that being the only other tip I had from way before spray deodorants were available.

Heat and humidity are main factors in Florida, but the noseeums, mosquitoes and flies in some locations make staying in an open cabin unbearable.
