Instead of a normal arthrodesis consisting of bone and cartilage exposure through a larger incision, we combined a retrograde
hindfoot nail with adjuvant hybrid external fixation to increase stability in the joint and decrease soft-tissue insult (Figures 2a & 2b).

She presented with typical Marfan syndrome alterations in ectoscopy (pectus carinatum deformity,

hindfoot arthrodesis was performed in 1 foot (8%) via Ilizarov fixateur externe.
Malrotation of the tibia can lead to significant limitation of function, secondary to
hindfoot disability and the development of early degenerative arthritis [7, 14].

No articular abnormality was observed in the
hindfoot and midfoot.
