Riveters" are renowned for the ways in which they contributed to the Allied war effort by working in manufacturing jobs during the war.
Rosie & the
Riveters are so infectiously fun that it's impossible not to like this talented foursome from Saskatoon.
Elinor Otto was one of the original Rosie the
Riveters, the thousands of women who took on jobs for men deployed overseas during World War II.
Red polka dot bandannas ruled the day on October 24, when more than 2,090 women and girls gathered at Willow Run Airport to break the Guinness World Record of the most "Rosie the
Riveters" in one space.
