Before leaving the Sky Blues he hinted that he would be open to a loan move back at the Ricoh Arena in the New Year, ahead of next term's pre-season with the Rowdies.
It would only be a stop-gap scenario in terms of his game availability because the changes in the loan system this season mean clubs can't take new players until January 1, and the likelihood is that he'd have to return to the Rowdies at the end of February.
