Facing a repossession order for their home at a county court hearing in Llangefni on January 7, Mr Tricker has already been in touch with Shelter Cymru, the charity for the homeless.

Just days before Mr Tricker lost a county court case against the council claiming he had been refused help to set up a horticulture therapy centre for epileptics because of his "Englishness."

David and Hazel Tricker, who set up a conservatory and greenhouse display centre at their home at Rhostrehwfa on the outskirts of Llangefni, Anglesey, owe pounds 40,000 in mortgage arrears and have been served with a repossession order.

Last night a desperate Mr Tricker said: "We will be homeless and it is the fault of the planning authority.

Mr Tricker said: "For no fault of our own we have been through years of hell.

Mr Rogers has written to the council's managing director Geraint Edwards, demanding that an apology be made to the Trickers.

David and Hazel Tricker have fought Anglesey council for 10 years for the fight to set up a conservatory and greenhouse display centre.

Mr Tricker said that the "complex" affair had taken its toll on his health and that his 55-year-old wife had twice tried to take her own life as their debts mounted.
