Eliott Goretsky was born 'Elihu' Goretsky to Maurice and Claire
Goretsky in Santa Clara, California. He attended Bellarmine College
Preperatory in San Jose, where he performed in many plays and excelled
on the speech and debate team during his senior year. Eliott went on to
U.C. Irvine, where he received his B.A. in Dramatic Art. After
graduation, he moved to Los Angeles where he immediately landed roles
in episodic television, working on shows such as "Growing Pains, "
"Designing Women, " and "Babylon 5." At this time, he worked under the
stage name of Eliott Harold. In 1993, Eliott left acting and pursued a
career in feature casting. He dabbled in this field for a few years,
and decided he needed more attention and returned to acting. Recent
credits include "ER, " "Pacific Blue, " and a pilot entitled "The Thing
About Family, " produced by Yvette and Kyle Bowser. Feature credits
include "What Lies Beneath, " and "Slaves of Hollywood."
