Johnny Erasme

At the young age of two, Johnny Erasme, aka JBlaze, was performing for
everyone, anytime, anywhere. Dance was an integral part of his life by
the age of nine, when he became a member of the renowned Miami-based
group, HIP HOP KIDZ. By the age of twelve, Johnny headed for Los
Angeles as a triple threat: an extremely talented rapper, dancer and
actor. He arrived in L.A. with a rap demo in hand and as a star member
of HIP HOP KIDZ, winners of the 2002 Gold Medal World Hip Hop
Championship. Shorty after his arrival, Johnny also won The Best New
Artist Competition in Los Angeles. Johnny has since performed in
movies, on television and in concert halls. His movie credits include
DreamGirls, Wild Child, Prom Night and The Making of a Dream, the story
of Martin Luther King Jr, where Johnny portrayed the young M.L.K.
Johnny was a series lead in the Nickelodeon show, Dance on Sunset, and
appears on TV All Star Specials, such as A Tribute to Smokey Robinson
and Movies Rock. He has booked guest spots on such shows as Everybody
Hates Chris, Lipshitz Saves the World, 10 Things I Hate About You,
several pilots, and featured on Glee and Bones. He has also booked
National Commercials for McDonald's and Wendy's, as well as National
Campaigns for Verizon Wireless, Sears and JCPenney. As a dancer, Johnny
has performed on the televised award shows; The Academy Awards, The
Grammys, American Music Awards, BET Awards, Soul Train Awards and The
Kid's Choice Awards. He has appeared on most of these shows annually
for the past three years. As a member of the elite dance team, LXD,
Johnny has performed on So You Think You Can Dance, The Conan O'Brien
Show, and in Beijing, China. He has also danced with Justin Bieber, Chris Brown,
Usher, Sade, Jordin Sparks, and Cee Lo Green, to name a few. As a
rapper, Johnny has recorded dozens of songs as he continues to refine
his style of rap, with cutting beats, classy moves, and catchy lyrics.
He has been featured as a rapper on the The Ellen Show, The View, The
Maury Povich Show, and Good Morning America. He has also toured the
high schools and shopping malls in Los Angeles and Ventura Counties,
where he developed such a following, a bodyguard was hired to keep the
fans from mobbing him. Johnny continues to grow his career as an actor, dancer/choreographer and rapper.
