Marilee Talkington (She/They) is an actor, writer, director and creator of new work. They have an M.F.A. in Acting from the prestigious American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T.) and have been working professionally in theater for over 2 decades. Their original stage works have been seen all over the U.S. and internationally and their solo show TRUCE ran on the BBC in 2011.. In the past decade and a half Marilee has originated over 80 characters including lead roles at Tony Award Winning theaters and audience favorites role on Network and Streaming TV Series (Apple TV+, NBC, CBS, CW).
Marilee has gained a reputation for their uncanny transformational ability, deep emotionally nuanced approach to each character, and both bite and charm.
Marilee is an international advocate for disabled performers and thought-leader in the anti-ableist arts movement and the founder of Access Acting Academy, the world's first acting studio for blind and low vision actors.
They also played competitive basketball in their youth and was a California State Regional All-Star. Marilee played point-guard.
