Yulan Jack (formerly known as Stephanie Jack) is an Singaporean Australian actor of Chinese and Scottish ancestry. She plays Megan Lang in the Australian comedy series, Deadloch (Amazon Prime Video).
Jack graduated with an M.F.A Acting from Harvard's American Repertory Theater Institute and a B.A. Drama from the University of Bristol. While training at the American Repertory Theater Institute, Jack performed in the New York Times Critics' Pick production of The Light Princess (New Victory on 42nd Street). She also trained at the Moscow Art Theatre School where she performed in an onstage adaptation of Dostoevsky's The Idiot. In 2019, she moved to Shanghai to study Mandarin and kung fu.
In 2020 Jack returned to Australia and made her television debut in Rosehaven (ABC) and her Australian theatre debut in Archipelago Productions' The Maids, playing Madame alongside Australian screen stars Essie Davis and Marta Dusseldorp. In 2022, Jack was cast as journalist Megan Lang in the acclaimed comedy series, Deadloch (Amazon Prime Video). In July 2023, she stepped into the lead role of Michelle Law's trilingual play Miss Peony with only 72 hours notice, performing the role of Lily for the play's season at Belvoir St Theatre and its national tour.
