The Bridge

During a religious procession in Spain. Anna De Santos is abducted by monk in a mask.

A man called Mitchell goes to see Contessa Caroline di Contini. He knows who is responsible for taking Anna. It is his son David.

David Mitchell was born into a life of wealth and privilege. He despises it as he has fallen into the clutches of an extreme revolutionary group.

To release Anna who is a childhood friend of his. David wants money and explosives.

Harry Rule is brought in as an explosives expert but his main task is to dissuade David to blow up a bridge while a prominent visitor passes over it.

It is a generic 1970s story of a man who falls into the wrong kind of people and does not see it. They run away with the money leaving David alone to carry out his plans. There is too much blue screen in this one despite some filming done abroad.
