Kendo interviews his better half Lisa Loves in the BTS short subject on this DVD, to explain their approach in Lisa's second bit of feature direction. Their pomposity is not reflected in the final product, though I suppose the "before and after" shots of color grading might interest tech geeks.
Basically, Lisa's product for daring! Media, for which hubby Ken Docherty aka Kendo handles camerawork, differs from Mr. K's trademark output for the same label by virtue of being softer and more romantic. But the overall look, especially the extreme cropping (first reel has foreheads and sometimes entire heads left out of the frame as sex progresses to the usual gynecological close-ups) is almost identical for the two auteurs.
They use Eastern European talent rather than Brit Porn stars for their cast, explained by the duo as being a result of the local UK performers too harsh and gonzo for a purposely Couples-aimed romantic XXX-er.
Though the title is accurate here, the overall effect of "models" (that is how they are billed, with Kendo never referring to his talent as actors or actresses) making love with their eyes closed in nearly slow-motion is to put the viewer gradually to sleep.
