EVERYDAY PHOTOGRAPHY (Every Day!) is a podcast for creative photographers who love exploring new ways to see, shoot, and think about pictures. Hosted by Suzanne Fritz-Hanson and MH Rubin, the show features conversations with artists, experts, and inspiring guests—offering practical tips and thoughtful (sometimes philosophical) insights on how to improve your everyday photography, live a more photographic life, and maybe even fall in love with pictures all over again.
Our HOSTS: miCHAEL RUBIN & SUZANNE FRITZ-HANSON
Rubin has had a winding career: making movies with Bernardo Bertolluci; premastering CDs for the Grateful Dead; developing the “paint-your-own pottery” studio industry; years at Netflix... but through it all he’s been a passionate photographer and collector. In 2017 he left his Senior Innovator role at Adobe to focus on fine art photography; in 2020 moved to Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Suzanne Fritz-Hanson is a collaborator, a creative-problem-solver, a scrappy-maker-of-things-to-happen, a practiced-question-asker, a silly-dance-choreographer and a lover of hyphens... also, she's a Senior Creative Director at an experience marketing agency. Instead of a traditional print or digital advertising, she works with brands to merge physical and digital elements: "phydigital". "I love the power of a great image that captures more than a visual record and instead can tell an entire story. I love the constraints of photography and simultaneously appreciate the technological advancements that have democratized and advanced the medium."
