Reintroducing the girls..Now nine months old.
With COVID keeping us home for the whole of last year we found we Needed to
have the love of furry family once again. These two have kept us busy 😂 and Laughing!!!
I think I will be checking in here, on Pieces of My Life, often. I have been getting so
upset with the Political stuff on FB that I will keep it for my hobby groups mostly.
So this is it for now ... Hope things are well with you!

November 2020 First Post in a Looong Time!

 Oh my goodness!

It has been over a year since I did this, I wonder if I will remember?

Much has gone on since the last time I remember posting.

We lost our sweet Phoebe last February. She was doing just fine until she wasn't. So we had to allow her to go be with Annie..What wonderful girls they were!!

Ronnie and I have been doing fine through this COVID outbreak. We do take all the precautions, wear masks and wash our hands... at times we wear gloves. When we have gone off, staying in hotels, we bring wipes and completely clean the whole place. We also have always brought our own pillows when we travel. No one comes into our room but us. We wrap the remote in a wipe..though we don't watch much TV.  Ronnie likes to play his Spider and other games. I read or listen to books while I do some stitching.

We did go to Bonneville for some racing in September. Rodney and Alison went with us and after that week we  drove home, going through Tahoe, and spent the night at the cabin they have there in Tahoe. I had never been to Lake Tahoe before. It is very nice!! We had planned to return for Thanksgiving, but now COVID is resurging so we won't do that.

I was going stir crazy when the COVID started and picked up cross stitching again. There are some Floss Tubes that I Love to watch on Youtube. Several of my favorites are,  Saltbox Stitcher,  Brenda and the Serial Starter, Nicola Parkman*,  and Quilt Roadies ~ also her Stitch Roadies.

In September we were lonely for our beloved Yorkies and decided we could still enjoy one more set of puppies. It is VERY hard to find Yorkshire Terriers! We did find two. One was born in Rancho Cucamonga (?sp) and the other was in Sacramento. They were born 4 days apart in August. One is a Parti Sable, her name is Alisa, called Allie,  and the other is a Parti Traditional, she is Amanda, called Mandy.. They are 12 weeks old and we have had them 3 weeks now. The pups love each other. Both were the runts of their litters. Each one is a darling, wee love. Of course it has been 17 years since we have trained puppies... they are keeping us busy. They sleep through the night, but are raring to go at 5am!

if I can remember HOW to post photos I will...

Okay then...dragging still works...

So then I will say goodnight for now. Cross stitch and being 'puppy busy' is sending me to sleep...

I"m going to try to get back to this Blog again...I have had little time for quite a while and been using Facebook to stay in touch.
So today i start a short post.
We had to say goodbye to a piece of our hearts two weeks ago. Sweet Annie was 13.

The twins are graduating from high school so it is time to make their Freedom Quilts..I have been piecing two quilts..
One for Woods---

and one for Wynslow.

I still have about 50 more blocks to make for Wyn's.

We have been going off with the Saturday Morning Car Guys a lot.
Have been to the Petersen Auto Museum and the Miniature Engineering Craftsmanship Museum, along with several car shows this past April.

Last weekend we drove the hot rod out to Julian to see good friends .. and of course...get some pie and cookies from the Julian Pie Company.

These are the 'Bloody Steps', as I refer to them. Tomorrow I go back to a regular walking schedule. Ever since last October, when I had shingles, I have had one thing after the other. Either one of my students gave me a cold, or ?? that was going around, or I was helping Ronnie after he had  his knee replacement..     ( There are 164 steps down and 164 up.)

Those are some of the past few months Pieces of my life...
enough for today.
