There are the goatskin 'girba' slung from a wooden tripod and used for churning butter, rough wooden mortars and pestles, weaving tools, leather cradles known as 'mizab', a game board, and the bulky frameworks of the litters in which women and young children could ride atop camels when families moved from camp to camp.

They are a Bedouin group who migrated from Saudi Arabia in the nineteenth century and now are mostly populated between Kassala, Khasm al Girba and El Damer.
