HAYDOCK Park history maker Richard Kingscote received special Royal approval when partnering Queen's Calculation to victory last Friday.

TRIBUTES have been paid to Eric Haydock, the original bass player of 1960s Manchester pop group The Hollies, who has died at his home at the age of 75.

Simon Haydock, 49, faced a single charge of fraud and a jury found him not guilty following a trial at Newport Crown Court yesterday.

Speaking outside the court after the not guilty verdict was given, Mr Haydock said: "This has been a horrific three-and-a-half years for my family "I'm pleased that justice has been served but nobody has won in this at all."
