Qantas and BP Australia have today announced a new customer loyalty partnership that will see
Qantas Frequent Flyer become the cornerstone partner of BP's new customer loyalty program, BP Rewards.
Qantas has spent the past 12 months building a dedicated lounge at Heathrow as part of a multi-million dollar investment for customers on its existing London services as well as the landmark Perth-London route starting on 24 March 2018.
Qantas International CEO Gareth Evans said the partnership has achieved significant benefits for customers offering an integrated network, countless opportunities to earn and redeem points and is setting the standard in customer experience.
Travellers to Thailand will be hit, however, with the surcharge on Emirates-operated flights on Fridays and Saturdays, and on
Qantas operated flights on Saturdays and Sundays.
Existing laws limit the level of foreign ownership in
Qantas to 49 per cent, restrictions that don't apply to its rival.
